Who is Pandit Bhisham Persad?

Pandit Bhisham comes from a long line of pandits(Hindu priests) from south Trindad. He has made quite a name for himself in Maryland and environs. He has recently been awarded a community service award by Maryland Governer Martin O'Malley. He was also honoured at the 5th Annual Maryland-India Business Roundtable Gala and Awards Ceremony, an event which focuses on strengthening the ties between Maryland and India and developing new opportunities in the Life Sciences and Information Technology fields.
